Public Relations Assignment – Gather examples of all information that has been distributed by your organization to others over the past year (this will include newsletters, letters, brochures, website address, social media posts, etc.).

  • Develop three packets, all identical with the same materials.
  • Distribute the packets to three people who know little about your organization.  We would like them to respond with a paragraph or so that explains, on just the basis of what has been given to them, the organization in their own words.
  • Ask them to call the organization and ask questions regarding the organization in terms of what they do, etc.

Database Assignment – respond briefly to the following:

  • In an “ideal world” if you had a database that perfectly fitted your needs, what would it be able to do?
  • Given where you are right now, what grade from A-D would you give your current database capabilities?
  • Why did you grade it in the way you did?  What were the deficiencies you identified?
  • Put them in the order of the most important to the least important.

Malenovice Retreat Assignment – Prepare a brief paper outlining your developmental plans for your organization for the rest of the year.  Bring with you three additional copies to share with three of your peers.
